It turns out, when the government houses people, the government saves money on incarcerating people. So it isn't saving taxes is not the reason for not housing homeless people. I wonder if we have the homeless problem that we do because a large percentage of Americans are secrete Satanic sadists.

Suicide Solution

Suicide is a solution to one's own homeless problem. They should write a really good suicide note and keep in mind who finds their body. But harming one's self to the point of death may not be needed. Going so far as to get disabled could get a homeless person a home in a nursing home.

Cartoon Karma

If the world really worked the way it is depicted in silly children's cartoons, all homeless people would have to do is smile and take their oppression light hearty; the cruel oppressors of the homeless will then magically get what's coming to them while the homeless find happiness. But in the real world, Elmer Fudd gets his way because he uses his gun and the real Bugs Bunny finds himself in Elmer's tummy.

The 2010 census

Homeless Americans will go under counted in the 2010 census. There is no easy way to quantify homelessness. It's not like you can even call most of those who are homeless on the phone or send them a letter. Other sorts of misery are more easily summed up, like divorce and death. Most homeless people probably hide it. You also can't just concentrate on one local population and use it as representative of the US as a whole. If all of America were just like some communities in America we would be redefined as a third world country.

WOW. President Obama

Now that Obama is president, those who voted for him might expect that the full funding of housing vouchers has eliminated homelessness. Well, he and his Democrats in congress have not even fully funded housing vouchers. Many communities have a seven year waiting list for housing vouchers. The difference between Democrats and Republicans is the Democrats might greese it up before that stick in the orifices of those who have to work for a living.

My pal, N C, has quite an arsenal of firearms. He must know what smoking crack is like because it seems he gets that feeling whenever he fires a new WLD. (Weapon of Local Destruction) He even supports Bush going to Iraq to take away bad guy Sadam Husan's WLDs while bad guy Kim Jong Ill in North Korea actually has WMDs (Weapon of Mass Destruction.) It must take a lot of gun love to go after WLDs instead of WMDs. Anyway, we have been friends for many years. So when he told me that he bought a few more rifles, he knew what I was going to say next: let's give a few of your old ones to homeless people? He stated that if he did that, it would increase the likelihood that a bad cop would likely shoot the armed homeless person dead. I felt dumb because I hadn't thought of that before. But perhaps I didn't think of that before because I am actually smart? What if he is wrong? I think the pigs would just mind their own bee's wax if they believed the best case scenario would be a mountain of "I shot a man" paper work. So what do you say to that, huh, not smart as me N C?

It has been over two years.

It has been over two years and I still haven't given out any guns to homeless people. I haven't even become a we yet. My wife doesn't even seem to be on board with this project. But then again, Karl Marx didn't become a household name until after his death.
